Just signing players who were really good a few years ago, is not going to set us on a long term path. 1 or 2 is great in terms of experiences, but if we do go up, we're going to have to replace pretty much our entire starting 11. Being in the WSL will put us in a better position next summer to build a squad for the long term. It's why, traditionally, they won the World Cup and England used to struggle with them. A lot of world teams have now figured a way around this. She was way down the pecking order at Chelsea, so any game time would be a positive for her. Would be great to get a good relationship with Chelsea, they hoard players in the same way the men's side do, so plenty or opportunities for loans there!
