Second half poor and wrong substitutions. I would imagine Nobbs and Boddy will make a big difference though. Still would like to see two (or at least one) statement signings through the door before the transfer window ends. Four keepers man absolutely pointless. I still say the manager is a weak point also

Has the window not already ended?  The commentator on the game today kept going on about Forest's "deadline day" signings

You're right it has. Honestly that manager is absolutely clueless. Four keepers on the book is just stupid at that level, and I'm certainly now not convinced that squad is strong enough. She made exactly the same mistakes last year with the signings

I honestly can't believe that at that level we now have four keepers in the squad. That is total mismanagement at another level. I thought two would be away before the window was closed, but after finding out that it currently has , I'm actually dumbfounded at the crass stupidity of that decision

I mean the men's team had four keepers in the fucking match day squad not that long ago.

Lot more completions and Gillespie was/is the party organiser and Ruddy is on the training side. Totally different levels, men's team are playing top level football and have realistic expectations in the two domestic cups. The lasses team have an unbelievable opportunity to get promotion in this one off season. Should have been aiming to have a squad to ensure promotion, not having three keepers twiddling their thumbs. Massive difference between the two scenarios.

Does seem like a huge opportunity. The four keepers thing on the men's team was a bit strange but it happened. I agree that this is a different circumstance. Hope they kick on.

It does feel like total madness. The only thing I wondered is has something happened to Hannah Hawkins? Despite four keepers, we actually didn't have a keeper on the bench on Sunday - so you would assume Hawkins must be injured and then Tamminen and Liefting potentially deemed too new (for registration reasons?) to be involved. If that's the case then it could just about make sense, given that Liefting is only 20 so presumably may play for the U21s rather than the first time?

No surprise when Newcastle has had zero pathway for lasses

Durham and Sunderland have academies from u10s and under 9s

All the talented lasses from Newcastle end up at them 2 clubs

Hopefully that changes next few years

Especially as I'm sick of taking my daughter to Sunderland :icon_puke_l:
