Has to be enough now.

She's been out of her depth for 2 seasons.

I think this will show us how genuine the club are about wanting the women's team to be successful.

All it will take is someone to come in and stop playing 5 at the back, and that will probably see an instant improvement!

Not going to pretend I know anything about women’s football but keeping the coach that brought you up 2 divisions yet upgrading the players makes little sense to me.

She is the one who has been responsible for the players coming in. A few ageing players amongst a boat load of mediocre level 2 players is certainly part of the problem. However, the lack of any structure, forward play and a just a general cluelessness is an even bigger problem.

Edit for the second week in a row she is going to be saved it looks like. I just hope the club can see what everyone else can and still give her the bullet

Wonder how many tickets will be sold for the derby? 40k+ probably so hopefully things improve

Something tells me it will be a lot less popular this time round!

Last year we were better than them so victory was expected home and away, this year, a point would be a miracle!

Doubt it currently I think at the moment we will struggle to get 30,000. Still an unbelievable crowd, but well down on last year. Let's see if the club have real ambition to actually go up this year (unbelievable opportunity with two promoted outright), or are going to accept a manager totally out of her depth.

The actual structure and progressiveness of the team today was actually alarming. She has had three windows and a season and a bit to put this right, however, the team has actually deteriorated to an alarming extent. There is no pace or height within the team. They look totally out of sorts going forward and alarmingly poor at the back. The midfield is very static also. Too many players at the backend of their careers, being brought in because of their name. Even more so, too many mediocre players not good enough to challenge at the top end being brought in also. The London Lionesses showed how to do achieve promotion and then be able to compete in the WSL, by signing up a high level manager and players fit for purpose.

Our manager should be gone this week, I put money on she won't be though

I’d imagine a large part of the crowd would just be going for the venue rather than the event without really being interested in the women’s game. It’s a chance for people to take kids etc who can’t usually, and it’s a relatively low stakes game compared to a nufc game where people are on the drink etc. I’ll probably first take my son to one of these so if he’s not into it and wants to go home I’m not that bothered. Not besmirching woman’s football or out but I reckon that’s the case for the expanded games, otherwise there would be bigger crowds at the usual games.
