I'm pretty sure the new lads can pull us through, though my only issue is whether Burn will be allowed to play against Brighton

Surely clauses like this are not allowed to exist when you buy the player?

That's what I'm wondering, probably talking bollocks like , but someone brighter can enlighten me.

Eh? When you buy a player, he’s yours, so it doesn’t matter who you play him against. We bought Burn. If you loan a player from his parent club, he won’t be allowed to contribute to his loan club getting points off his parent club. We loaned Targett from Villa, hence we can’t field him against Villa.

What is his injury record like in general?

Nothing much you can do if someone stamps on your foot and breaks a bone. Has nowt to do with previous injury records.

Ahhhh wanky shitbags, next five games out at least:

Cat Kickers (A) 19/02

Brentford (A) 26/02

Brighton (H) 05/03

Chelski (A) 13/03

Palace (H) 19/03

Potentially get nine points there I guess, but it'll take some serious effort, hopefully the current momentum and boost to confidence can carry us a bit.

Reminds me of when Ben Arfa broke his leg - similar levels of gutted.

Ah, see, I know what you mean. But as with everything Ashley, Ben Arfa represented a tiny glimmer of hope which, when crushed, was calamitous. With Triprpier, it's a true shame but you can't help but feel like we will be alright whatever happens. We have lost a brilliant player for a while. But we're going to sign fucking loads of them- it's great.
