Towards the end of the match you could see the leadership and his calm; despite Schar bricking it -- Trips bloody became a deep lying playmaker turned sweeper at one point clearing the lines at LB. He was the first to trust the new owners and leave what was undoubtedly a brilliant life in Spain (even though he's said he wanted to return to the UK) and has been utterly fantastic from day 1. Love the thought of him leading us out next year in that competition, elite leader and hope he's around the club long after he's done playing.
