Needs to up his aggression in the English game.

If he was anymore aggressive he would have been sent off for pulling down Haaland. I think with last night's game fresh in the mind, any demands for more aggression, should be tempered for now.

He reads danger well but his execution of dealing with said danger so far has been a bit patchy so far. All good, I think that's just a pace adjustment thing.

Yeah. It's been a hell of an introduction for him, tbf. Brighton, Man City then Burt Reynold's Mean Machine, is a hell of a baptism.

He put in a lovely block/dispossession on one of their players last night in the corner. Their player had a look of “what the fuck was that” as Sven came away with the ball.

The last part of that game was manic and everyone got caught up in it but he did well along with Trippier in calming it down just enough, he’s learning quickly.

He’s been nurtured and wrapped in cotton wool as a potential elite player his entire life. Tranmere away on a Wednesday night will have been like landing on the moon for him. Nasty elbowing hacking brawl in the classic English cup tie tradition. He did alright under the circumstances and Howe will have been watching him for his reaction and resilience.

He got that header in from the corner with the defender having 2 goes at holding him back. Brushed him off with ease.

From Tranmere’s hackers to the Black Country Lisbon Exiles on Sunday is one hell of a pivot stylistically.

An eye opener for him. The British lads have all been brought up with that to varying degrees. Will have introduced him to some of the realities of English footbaaaaal. ?

Was a moment when near the corner flag that made me think he's going to be quality. Looked like he was about to get done and he put in a solid block tackle with the ball at his feet and played a pass straight into midfield like it was nothing.

Sven Botman looks like he'd really love the monkey tbf, I reckon he'll end up being roped into the monta musika scene or whatever it is these days.

Cowies dropped, chewing gum in, jaw going at 180 bites per minute.
