Looks an absolute unit, bonus being he can actually play too. Fingers crossed he adapts to the pace of the game over here but he'll have no issues with the physicality of the league. Not seen too much of him in all honesty but I'll trust their judgement and he could be here for years with a bit of luck. Nothing like having a few big, nasty snide fuckers in the XI either, 6ft 5 CB - wins everything in the air and a threat in the opposition box too. Big, big ticks for the PL game

A JWP away from sticking it in the box and resulting in a goal each time. It'll be like when FM comes out and the match engine is broken.

Imagine teams having to mark burn, botman and wood. Throw our cheeky backheel specialist in there as well and it's raining goals.

Anyone else actually think they’re dreaming? Ashley gone, plans for new training facilities, Bruno, Trippier, Botman all signed?

Pope bombing up for a corner in the dying minutes. Just an orgy of men.

That old canard. That’s just them trying to stiff you of an extra week’s increased wages.

Actually I am doing the work now and not getting paid the extra yet.

Love the way we’re dropping £35m on a player and it’s nothing these days. Remember a big fuss made when we spent £20m on Almiron only 4 years ago.

 and presuming he must be really fucking good because that amount was completely alien to us.

Bruno’s my boy, my new favourite player of all time, but genuinely feel this signing is bigger

That was my feeling in Jan, this was the signing that would define the development of the club. The arse on this month has tainted things somewhat and feel he may just end up being another significant piece of the jigsaw.

Then signing Joelinton for a figure we could only dream of and him being crap until his recent glow up.

I am wondering with comment on him playing with Burn is Howe is thinking of shifting to his old 3-4-3 so

                                       Pope

             Schar             Botman         Burn

Trips                Bruno          Joelinton          Target

         New RW           Wilson         ASM

In posession Burn might push up as he did play left back for Brighton to create overloads and compensate for ASM not doing much pressing. My concern with this would be midfield obviously good with them two, where this works you might want a forward who can drop back when needed and link up with midfield but Wilson is not that type

He just means it doesn’t matter if both your centre backs are left footed. Burn and Botman can play alongside each other and it’s fine. There won’t be any major formation change.
