I think Tonali was most at fault there. Rogers was well covered, and Buendia was his man. He just sacked it off and gave him all the time and space to pick his spot. Coffee_Johnny Posted January 27 Share Posted January 27 No disrespect intended to any of our other defenders (or goalkeepers) but at 100% a Botman Thiaw partnership flanked by Livramento and Hall looks like sufficient quality for a title winning defence; if we can keep them together for the next couple of seasons. As long as we don't leave him exposed with his pack of pace he's excellent. Even so he did really well that one moment where he was clearly going to lose that 1v1 race with Hakimi and shifted his position just at the last moment to help hold him up and wait for support.
