Doesn’t deserve to be dropped per se however we’re far more balanced with Schar on the right, and Burn is currently undroppable.

Also everyone is a professional in the squad/on the team, unlike here. He’ll be fine if he gets “dropped” on Saturday like.

You can make an argument that Eddie may “rotate” again on Saturday. Southampton away with a full week between games will be the interesting one when everyone is potentially back fit.

How is Burn undroppable. He's been good but Botman is the better player.

Because along with Hall he’s been our best and most consistent player all season.

We miss a bit I'd balance with Schar, along with his range of distribution, but on current form Botman and Burn should be first choice. Schar had been below his usual high standards this season.

I thought our ability to pin them in was mostly down to Sven being his usual self winning aggressively at midfield. He was fantastic imho. Been out for ages and he’s slotted in brilliantly.

The only thing that makes me a bit off with seeing him on the right is the constant need to get the ball onto his left foot and how he shapes his body to receive it that way. It just looks odd and unbalanced to me and I can see Bournemouth targeting this with their pace and energy to close down

Hopefully Fab is recovered from illness. If so it’ll be him and BDB in.

He hit a couple of nice passes with his right iirc

Not for me. Reckon Burn needs a rest. But Eddie will know best.

Well yes to an extent though I wouldn't say best. We know Burn is limited. Hall growing into that position is protecting him a lot especially with Joelinton in that odd position. Our best CB pairing is still Schar and Botman. I'm not saying bench burn tomorrow. Just saying our best CB pairing is Botman and Schar

100% he has to come back in eventually but not anytime soon for me. Great problem to have either way.

Something tells me if Schar was bad enough not to be involved against Wolves then another two days is probably unlikely to mean he's back to full health, so I'm gonna assume he's still out.

Hopefully not. Think we missed him badly in possession Wednesday. It's the exact sort of game that suits him, likewise the arsenal away suited Botman/Burn.

yeah, would like Fab back in because Bournemouth will know Botman is a bit hesitant on his right and they're one of the best pressing teams in the country.

No Hope saying Schar wasn't 100% in training yesterday, so my guess would be it'll be BDB and Botman again tomorrow
