I love Bruno but he’s not an attacking mid and he’s clearly most comfortable at the base (See Arsenal at home). I think we absolutely need another comfortable ball player who is more attacking and has multiple ways to create and score. But happy to agree to disagree. I would not spend anything more than that on him, though. We should wait it out and address our other positions before we go after him, in my opinion. Midfield has almost gone to the back of the list because Bruno has come in and the rest of them have been performing, including the Brazilian tank that is Joelinton. It's a deal I could see revisted in January or next summer but I can't see us touching a CM for 40m when we have 4 other positions that need filled. Bruno is more of an off the ball first player who when he gets it can do positive stuff. We need someone who is always on the ball and does the positive stuff with it. Like Silva was at City. I haven’t seen enough of Bruno’s mate so I don’t know what kind of player he is other than he looks a player. I’d prefer a DCM first, however.
