I get it being reported as a done deal so people are confident but am amazed by the confidence of some that it has already definitely happened. We've all been here on transfers, the player may change mind, get better offer and even if verbally he has signed he isn't legally bound till pen is on paper. I am not bothered, we will find someone else, and it does look like this is happening, but don't understand quotes like above saying it's a certainty. I assumed agreed in principle would be subject to agreeing the finer personal terms and agents fees, along with passing a medical. I think it’s just refreshing knowing that no matter what, come end of August we’re going to be a lot stronger. Some targets will knock us back but it’s almost certain that our plans B, C & D will still be excellent. Hope PSG’s poor track record for bringing promising youths into the first team picture will make the lad see sense. Would be a blow to lose out on 2 priority targets this early.
