Couldve done with him on saturday . Why wasnt he replaced ?

It was weird, when he left Howe pretty much said in the following presser that we were looking to replace him. Didn’t in that window or the following one.

Amazing the difference the right setup can make to a player. Just didn't quite fit ours.

We were too big a club for him and he never had any self-confidence. It’s pretty clear based on his time at Burnley and Nottingham that he’s not as bad a footballer as he looked here.

Neither does Isak. (Sarcasm!)

Based solely on the fact Wood has scored more goals this season... 🙃

Tell you what, I think we'd benefit from having him at the moment... We could do with someone throwing some elbows and meowing to wind up defenders at the minute, we really are missing it.

Did anyone see the goal like? Was bobbins. Crisp packet hands England keepers letting em in for free.

Does make me wonder whether Eddie has ever considered asking our team to shoot once in a while. IMO shooting leads to more goals.

Said at the time he got way too much stick and did a lot for the team that went unsung.

Didn't quite envision him turning into the kiwi R9 though

Pleased it's working out for him.
