Aye.

Would love him to grab a goal or two next week.

We all just need to post that he will score in every match thread from now on, it will come.

he's not very good is he?

the very occasional flick on and the even less frequent hold it up and lay it off.

not really suited to the modern game.

really hope he turns it round as seems a canny lad.

10 points in 4 games with him in the team. He’s doing his bit.

Few games in within the Steve Bruce tenure...Stan's calling it accurate. Also calls out the rest of the Steve's.

Collymore is a Geordie.

Playing his role for the team well and we're picking up the points. That said - cow's arse, banjo...

The main reason why we are picking up points is we've stopped conceding goals.

Any centre back in the league, even on their off-day would love to play against Chris Wood for Newcastle.

- He's not a goal pig - he's not a threat with movement in/around 6 yard box (Aguero/Van Nistelrooy)

- He's not a threat behind, or a threat with pace (Vardy/Bellamy/Henry)

- He's not a bully (Drogba/Giroud)

On his good day, he's maybe 7/10 at best on any of the above.

This prick is so lazy he's never actually within the width of the goal posts when Fraser has it wide for a cross.

Joselu was shite, an I gave him equal stick, he's scoring goals....

Chris Wood will score goals, he'd score near 20 for Burnley next year in Championship.

I'd be amazed if Chris Wood scores more than 15 goals for Newcastle United.

He's our Roque Santa Cruz.

Aye, we know Wood isn't a Aguero, van Nistelrooy, Vardy, Bellamy, Henry, Drogba or Giroud.

The bit about him being a lazy prick is just nonsense as well.

I'm confident Chris Wood will not score 15 goals for us.

Was never comparing him directly to those names.

There's many things to criticise him for, doesn't seem a goal threat, technique isn't the greatest, doesn't be in the right place in the box but calling him lazy is ridiculous

He presses from the front and doesn't stop

He's far from lazy

Aye he’s not lazy mind, in fact a couple of times against Villa he was waving to Max to press more

No, he fucking is lazy! Has the same lazy trait that Carroll had.

Too happy to win a knock down, then never be in be in the box.
