Newcastle Fan
He'll only get better the more he gets used to the league, today he was up against probably the best midfielder in the world in Kante and a few world class midfielders around him and he did quite well. Elliottman
Not seeing this ‘slow’ at all. saw him driving up and down the pitch all game. Still won’t be fully fit but cannot see anything slow about him.
NEEJ
When you've got such a sharp eye for a pass and as deft a touch as he has, I don't think it particularly matters how quick you are. He's gonna be our star.

Kanj
Bruno has never looked “slow” when paired with the his club or national team midfield partners.
Bimpy474
If anyone thought Bruno looked slow and unathletic they must had the video running slow ffs

Shays Given Tim Flowers
Looks less fit than the other players, probably because he’s not been properly Howed for a while. Not sure it’s slow so much as tired and difficult to catch people with tired legs who have turned you.
kenlau88210
I know his game is more about finesse but I have to agree he seems to lack pace. Also he looks quite lightweight. Hopefully he can adapt to this league
Shays Given Tim Flowers
Think he will be better suited to when we have more of the ball in midfield too.
Ikon
He’s good enough to play for Brazil and beat Spain. That’s good enough for me..
Geordie Ahmed
I think being in a midfield 2 wasn't ideal especially as Longstaff was the other person Get our normal 3 in midfield and we'll see the best of him Having said that I still thought he was good, won a lot challenges and also won a few fouls. That passage of play which ended with Rudiger needlessly knocking him over was good from him.
Manxst
The likes of Iniesta, Pirlo and Busquets were hardly Olympic sprinters by any stretch, but still rightly classed as world class midfield players. The first few yards are the most important, along with the thought of what to do following that initial move. Those players, along with Bruno, clearly have foresight and planning ahead of the ball coming to them. Technique also buys them time and space that pace alone doesn’t. Bruno is just fine. Tiresias
You guys realise he was in a midfield 2 with Sean Longstaff against a midfield feating Jorginho who was number 3 in last years Ballon d'or and Kante? I thought he looked absolutely fine considering lol Look forward to him alongside Joelinton
Gallowgate Toon
Definitely a tough role for him today. Playing in a midfield 2 against a ball-dominant side is a tough shift.

Dr Venkman
I can see it, like, his top speed is noticeably lower than most others. He will adjust to the speed of the league and it won’t be an issue. Cabaye wasn’t quick either.
Bimpy474
Think you're on speed to be honest mate.
The College Dropout
People can’t take honest takes. he does look a bit slow. He’ll need to think fast In this league to compensate. Comparisons to Busquets, Pirloa and Iniesta… I mean ok. He’s more likely Granit Xhaka level and his lack of speed is a problem. Bruno has excellent ball control, good under pressure that’s great. But I was hoping for greater athleticism. He looks fairly fit and mobile. Just not quick. jonjo jo joe works well because 2 lads are extremely mobile and quick, Jo is v. strong for a midfielder and Shelvey can be strong in the tackle. i don’t think Bruno has the athleticism to play that Mezzalla role in the PL

Mazzy
Got a nasty off the ball whack from Rudiger after he chased back and won the ball. Did well yesterday in all but did give the ball away a few times, will only get better and will ofcourse get better with more quality around him next season. Wilson
Rudiger was a dirty bastard yesterday, one point which wasn't even mentioned waa when he literally held Burns wrist on the half way line stopping him from tracking back. Not even looked at.
