Aiston
99.9% of people could see Burn vs Elanga was a fucking awful idea.
Decky
Burn done for pace and we concede. Shock horror. Forest did the same thing at SJP so it was always going to happen again tonight. He shouldn't have started.
Lush Vlad
That goal is as much on the keeper and Miley getting totally bypassed, IMO. They’re there for the taking and we’ve gifted them a route back into it. They look good all of a sudden. But yeah, Elanga has beaten him twice from two attempts. Massive blindspot from Howe to keep playing him. Edited February 10 by Lush Vlad
Kimbo
He’s going to end with a reputation as a massive liability, which will be a shame considering how well he’s done for us previously.

Exactly this and yes he generally has done well but even so though, how is this even a surprise to anyone by now. Lad was our weakest link in attack last year and is our weakest link in defence this year. Seriously fucking infuriating stuff by Eddie. There is a better player on the bench that you spent so much money on man ffs. Edited February 10 by Amir_9
Dr Jinx
Games like these are going to have his confidence shot. Poor from the manager to include him today.

Agree with this one. I like him but he's just being exposed every single game due to the system we play.

Clearly being told to get forward but it's costing us - was just in the box now

Holmesy
Just the one today. I suppose we should celebrate any small improvement since he’s going to start every game here until the day he retires
Conjo
The haters on here are clearly not taller than 5ft3. Or a SMB. Or both.

Beth
He looked like he was moonwalking away from goal when Elanga skinned him twice in the first half. He'll still start the next game though.

He's so slow it's unreal, it's like every team has realised this and is exploiting it, yet he's still picked to start week in and week out Edited February 10 by FCB
Shadow Puppets
He had a tough first half… thought he was great second half though. Headed everything away. Would still like to see more Tino though.
Pata
He was really good against Fulham and Villa, why is the narrative suddenly that he's been garbage for a long time?
LionOfGosforth
I see a fair few of the WUMs are in here tonight looking for bites. Class.
Geordie Ahmed
Credit where credits due he had a much better second half and it wasn't just aerial stuff, he managed to deal well with a lot of ground duels too I'd still play Livramento at this moment simply because Burn is being targeted and we do suffer for it but when he plays like he did in the second half then it makes sense why Howe sticks with him
elbee909
There's always a section that love to hate a local lad. Edited February 10 by elbee909
