Burn done for pace and we concede. Shock horror. Forest did the same thing at SJP so it was always going to happen again tonight. He shouldn't have started.

That goal is as much on the keeper and Miley getting totally bypassed, IMO. They’re there for the taking and we’ve gifted them a route back into it. They look good all of a sudden.

But yeah, Elanga has beaten him twice from two attempts.

Massive blindspot from Howe to keep playing him.

He’s going to end with a reputation as a  massive liability, which will be a shame considering how well he’s done for us previously.

Exactly this and yes he generally has done well but even so though, how is this even a surprise to anyone by now. Lad was our weakest link in attack last year and is our weakest link in defence this year.

Seriously fucking infuriating stuff by Eddie. There is a better player on the bench that you spent so much money on man ffs.

Agree with this one. I like him but he's just being exposed every single game due to the system we play.

Clearly being told to get forward but it's costing us - was just in the box now :howe:

He looked like he was moonwalking away from goal when Elanga skinned him twice in the first half. He'll still start the next game though.

Maybe. Tavernier while good doesn't have the same pace as the last two wingers he's faced luckily.

Burn crap yet again

A bit better in the 2nd half to be fair....although Forest played to his strengths, everything in the air near him and only once tried to get him beat by pace.

He's so slow it's unreal, it's like every team has realised this and is exploiting it, yet he's still picked to start week in and week out

Credit where credits due he had a much better second half and it wasn't just aerial stuff, he managed to deal well with a lot of ground duels too

I'd still play Livramento at this moment simply because Burn is being targeted and we do suffer for it but when he plays like he did in the second half then it makes sense why Howe sticks with him

This is what gets ignored, it's all just pouncing on isolated mistakes and driving the agenda against a committed local lad doing his best.
