If Botman wasnt injured he would have played all season at LB and Hall would be wasted on the bench

It’s just a complete lack of aggression at both ends come set play time when he isn’t playing, we just aren’t a physically imposing side at all without him. 
 

That’s not to say he should win a Ballon D’or but it’s such a clear miss when he’s not there

We shouldn't fall apart in one game where he is out, so it's an indictment of his replacements as much as an endorsement of his abilities.

Think Kelly just had a particularly bad game and hasn't really spent all that much time in our back 4 yet in terms of game time. Neither are prime Maldini but both cam do a decent job most games. Dan Burns leadership was missed though. I was just working my ticket with the afore-quoted post tbh.

That’s a fair summary tbh - bloke is 32, gives his absolute all - I can’t ask for much more - whether he’s good or indifferent 

 

Being hyper critical - stick to the defensive line - too often he’s caught in no man’s land and it led to 2/3 Palace chances. A couple of instances he followed Marteta all th way up the pitch for no reason, lead to us being exposed to a counter over the top
