For 3 years he's been essentially undroppable. For the things in his game people (including me) get annoyed at, he impresses in so many more consistently. Its getting a bit silly at this point. People dont say Dan Burn isnt class because he shows he isnt, they say it because they think he shouldnt be.

I mean how do you top that. Big old fashioned bosh header and man of the match trophy to help win your team there first domestic trophy for 70 years, followed up by your first England cap. Man deserves his flowers. 

 

He has been the epitome of consistent for us throughout Botman's injury troubles and since moving back to CB has just grown as a player even at the ripe age of nearly 33.

I think he's one of those defenders that can play for a while yet to be honest - doesn't rely on pace. As long as there's a pacey defender next to him he'll be fine. Still absolutely delighted for him. No doubt be turning up for England training next day or two as well :lol:

Will be interesting to see what happens in these England games. Could feasibly see him paired with Konsa or Guehi, both quick but neither anywhere near as dominant in the air as Burn. Could make a good partnership.
