He'll have to make a decision really if he wants to stay on loan. Presumably he's making premier league money, at our expense, to play in the championship. He also cost us a fair amount for minimal return so far. He's our player so get him back. They can put an offer in if they want him that badly. Shak Posted January 12 Share Posted January 12 Aye, if he’s doing well there then well for him and hopefully he can sign on permanently in summer when his deal is up here. We have spent tens of millions on him and made him very well off over the last few years and I’ve not heard anything about him being treated anything but well, if we need him to be here and play for us for the next few months then he may get in his car and get back here and get on with it. Decent chance of being in involved in some Champions League games, we are one round away from Wembley in the League Cup and are still in the FA Cup. It isn’t the worst situation to come back into. Then, seemingly overnight, he was deemed shit by the same people. Hall’s the clear first choice but as a reliever for him I think bringing him back is a no-brainer if he’s up for it. My memory is a bit hazy but I don't remember him actually serving up shit performances or making lots of mistakes.
