He's also done a bit of an Eddie and made sure everyone he's recruited are solid honest pro's, night and day to the recruitment of Gerrard who seems to have just gone after names without any semblance of a plan. Lampard > Gerrard Lampard gets a lot of stick for the whole "fight, passion, desire" stuff that he obviously went on about too much, but the point is he was right. We were utterly pathetic last year, now we're far harder to play against. So he deserves a lot of credit for doing something about our main issue, even if it was glaringly obvious. He's got a lot to prove still but there are clear signs he's going in the right direction. Still pretty turgid going forward but that will come with time.
