It’s one thing trying your best to compete in a cup game against your derby rivals, it’s another playing higher tier opposition game in game out. They were nowhere near good enough, our first goal was always likely to come and they offered fuck all in attack and we’re just happy to fill the field with players. We were nowhere near our best today and won what in hindsight was a comfortable game, others will fucking demolish them when they aren’t playing it up for the derby.
