Sunderland look a bit shit defensively, gaps in the middle and on the wing, but PNE have nowt about them to punish them.

Don’t think they are too bad. RB looks their weak spot.

Was surprised how small they seem as a team. Used to watching our man mountains. Was a bog standard middle of the row champo match, that. Preston looked talentless, Sunderland looked like they had a few half decent players but nowt noteworthy.

Rough diamond...

Sunderland footballer Jack Diamond 'raped woman in his home' https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wear-67861047

"The 15 potential panellists were asked to indicate whether they were season ticket holders for either Newcastle United or Sunderland, and whether they were planning to attend the FA Cup clash between the two sides on Saturday.

Judge Edward Bindloss told potential jurors: "We want a jury who are able to put aside all issues of support and affiliation and come to a fair and objective view."

Excluding two of the potential panel, the judge said: "This is not meant in any way as a criticism of them but Mr Diamond is an employee of Sunderland football club. Mr Patterson may or may not be called for the defence.

"The test of bias is not just actual bias but the perception of bias.""

Fuck me, imagine letting off someone you think is guilty of rape because they play for your club?

Or convicting an innocent man because he plays for your rivals?

Grim.

Please football gods let us destroy the mackems on Saturday and shut this lot up for good.

Managed 90 seconds of that tripe, Weyer - Tyne derby, fans split on wanting Howe out, beating Newcastle - richest club in the world - will be the end for Eddie.  I hope to God we smash these buggers on Saturday!!

I love watching their internal dialogue manifest.  They’re not in our shadow, but they go on like it’s Real Madrid vs Gateshead.  They want to be massive underdogs, yet sneer at everything that makes them the underdog in the first place.  They want to be seen as our equal, yet it’s a David and Goliath contest.  Daft cunts.

No excuses from the team or all involved for not beating the cunts, it has to be said.

And I’m confident we will.

If these sneak up via the play offs then they will be in trouble.

It’s one thing trying your best to compete in a cup game against your derby rivals, it’s another playing higher tier opposition game in game out.

They were nowhere near good enough, our first goal was always likely to come and they offered fuck all in attack and we’re just happy to fill the field with players.

We were nowhere near our best today and won what in hindsight was a comfortable game, others will fucking demolish them when they aren’t playing it up for the derby.

This lot would get absolutely brutalised in the PL.

would take back the record of lowest points total in the PL.

Says alot that their best player on the pitch tonight scored an own goal, gave away a penalty and was luck he didnt get a red card in the first half.

They need a striker if they're going to lay a glove on Leeds and Southampton in the Play-Offs like. Thought Waddle was spot on, they weren't better than us so they had to find a way to try and beat us and they didn't.

O'Nien though. Him and SAFC are just made for each other.
