There is nothing to be gained from it.  Victory is a relief, and defeat would be bleak.  I’m much happier to watch them pissing around in the lower leagues broken and broke.  It’s not risk aversion - I just want their club to fail.

See. You don’t like fun, that’s not normal [emoji38]

Today has been absolutely mint.

So turns out they recycled cards used for their poppy display. All for it; however, questions need to be asked by their fans as to where the £17k went.

They’ll start asking now, seeing as they’ve embarrassed themselves in front of us and we’re unlikely to let it drop

We worked out a scale pre game in the pub, a defeat or draw for us was a disaster, us winning by 1 or 2 was neutral ground , everyones OK with that, anything more and it's a whooping.

They absolutely hate Beale like. 😂 Every game he's there it poisons the club and they won't be able to move forward. He'll never win the majority round, not now, not ever. Huge potential to derail their entire season.

Think Clarke will be sold as well, bet thry hoped for a star performance from him today, instead he provided nothing, allowing for a lesser bid probably already on the table to be accepted.

I'm not surprised they hate him, he's like a cockney Souness. Loves the sound of his own voice and throwing his players under the bus.

Mmhmm, well that's... very good... for a first try. You know what? I have a ball. Perhaps you'd like to bounce it?

Why the fuck would you pick “Wearside”?  Stating the fucking obvious.

An obvious thing would have been to do a Mackem heroes of derbies past.

But thinking about it:

Di Canio would mean giving up the bogus ‘human rights defenders’ schtick

Adam Johnson is … problematic, given that it was on national telly

And the idea of Eric Gates’s visage blown up on a huge surfer flag is just too hideous to contemplate

’Wearside’ it is, then

But for all the things that cost us the game and on the proviso they didn't step it up instead of controlling things from a leading position we'd have drawn so in a way were the real winners today.

Compleyt delewsion that mind.

They were fucking awful. Expected them to make life tough for us but they played into our hands, they would be propping the table up if they were in the PL, with 2 or 3 points at best. I know they’re in the Championship, but that is the reality.

Sunderland fans have probably the worst misplaced ego besides maybe Everton? Getting truly humbled by their clubs owners and local rivals, pretty funny really.

yous are class the mags are shit, they love a pat on the back

It’s all they’ve got left.  A couple of their bubbles - ‘we’d beat these, they’re overrated’ and ‘haven’t beaten us for XX years’ went today.  They won’t be able to cope - made up other ‘x fan in peace’ shite is the thread they’re clinging to
