The fuckers are 7th. Maybe if they actually got behind their new manager instead of being so relentlessly toxic about us, they might get somewhere.

Sounds like mag behaviour that marra

They'll still hate Beale.

Getting beat of us 3-0 means there's no way back for him.

Half of my family are Sunderland season ticket holders, they hated him before he ever started - nothing to do with us beating them.

They went from hating Di Canio to forgetting their purported morals and loving him because they beat us. Peter Reid, despite all he did, lasted a few months once the laurels of not losing to us and not finishing behind us. The turn on Bruce was because they kept getting beat of us.

Got to wonder how hated he'd be if they'd have won.

Romano reckons they'll get €30m for him in the summer, presumably the scouts have watched him against the likes of Stoke and Sheff Wed and not the game against us. Ridiculous money.

If they can get £15m for him then under normal circumstances they'd have done well. He's 23, the club has a buy to sell model, and there is little evidence he can play top flight football. Not saying its a given, but its a risky signing. Italy might be better for him tbh, and for them, at least he's away out of sight. Biggest issue is the 45% sell on to spuds, which means the sale leaves them with little to replace him with and now, very little time to do it in. Good move for the player though.

Isn’t Dewsbury-Hall being touted for around that? The best player at the team streets ahead at the top of the league… not sure I’d agree with Romano’s valuation there.

As if Romano knows who Clark is, ffs, never mind his worth.

Can't believe he's worth any more than than £15m, maybe a bit more in add-ons.

Others saying Mackems holding out for £25m!

Funny thing is FFP will stop a bidding war for him. Clubs might have the money to sign him but they can't spend it.

They'd have fucking loved him if they'd beaten us. Let's not pretend otherwise here.
