midds Posted Wednesday at 13:40 Share Posted Wednesday at 13:40 Henderson was finished at PL level several years ago. Good luck with that one, no other PL has gone near him as a result for very good reasons
Conjo Posted Wednesday at 13:47 Share Posted Wednesday at 13:47 If he joins them on a modest wage without any playing time guarantees then it would be a great move for Sunderland to get his experience in to help guide, mentor and set the standard for a very young team, and be there as an option on the bench/cover for injuries. Wolfcastle Posted Wednesday at 17:13 Share Posted Wednesday at 17:13 Surely they wouldn't want him after he allowed himself to be sportswashed. But I bet they find it in their hearts to forgive it somehow.

TK-421 Posted yesterday at 07:04 Share Posted yesterday at 07:04 (edited) Wonder if they'll dust off that little cart up at Ponteyland Airport, and start 'takkin owa' and selling their merch again up there? Remember the last time we went down, too. They had the signs up there for the football club, stating "The only place to see Premier league football in the North East". Funnily they didn’t rebrand when they were the only place in the North East to see League One football for four consecutive years…

Paully Posted yesterday at 07:42 Share Posted yesterday at 07:42 From ‘Wembo’ to ‘Hendo’ in the space of a few days - what a week for them!
Checko Posted yesterday at 07:43 Share Posted yesterday at 07:43 Think Henderson would be a great signing for them: they've got a load of young players with little to no premier league experience so a guy like him would be brilliant around the squad, like Trips when he came to us. They've probably got plenty of good athletes to put around him to cover for his age. Plus it's nice to see people come back to their home town team to finish their careers. After all, the Dutch are relatively liberal, but even they probably wouldn't give him a free hand over the city's seagulls.

With the extra games on TV (mixed in with the shitty Police request), it's almost guaranteed that both derbies will be 12pm. Just depends what day we play UCL whether it's a Saturday or Sunday midday kick off.
