Expand For the record our average, bottom of the 2nd division, pre Keegan was 18,500. Easy (and convenient) mistake to make 18,000 - 8,000. Boro being the only relatively big game. Still the biggest in the division and bigger than most Division1 sides at the time. Bigger than all bar one of their last 14years at Roker Park, including when they got promoted a few years later.
