The thread about getting bought is canny lolz

Dreyfuss is going to make a mint, apparently.

Terrible timing that. Players heads messed with. Do they get to stsy if thry go up, or is it better for them to stay in the championship. Additional pressure on promotion. Oops.

Just mental how they keep telling themselves that they're a great investment for somebody with loads of money. When has this ever been the case for them? Billionaires weren't queueing up when they were in the Prem nevermind now. Loads of other clubs would be a better proposition than those fucks.

So how does nobody else know about it except this one bloke 🙈

Sleuthing on N-O/nufc social media consists of scouring companies house, checking chartered flights and their passengers. Scrutinising bread pictures and watching court cases.

Ready to groom happily go with "trust me, I heard it from a mate FTM SMB 9-1"

They were owned by a billionaire.

He invested shitloads into them, sold them, and turned himself into a millionaire.

That is true. Forgot how rich Ellis Short was.

Firstly they don't seem to realise the EFL Cup is not part of the debate.

Secondly - richer than PIF????

Suddenly fewmin rights aren't so important

They wouldn't get it in any case.  There's no way to figure out where players might have moved to which other clubs or what results might have been different in the absence of City.  If they hadn't played Man City in the final they could have ended up losing against Liverpool, Arsenal or any of the other big teams.

Also the mackems winning the cup (on a technicality that won't be happening anyways...) "before" Newcastle doesn't remove any shine off our achievements except in their obsesses heads. Only time them winning it would be bad is if they slapped us to do it.

Mackelogically they will presume that they are the default winners regardless of whether it was officially ratified - in the event of Man City being stripped of any silverware that was won during the period they are being investigated over their strange financial activities.

This will never not be hilarious

Even more hilariously, this was a whole thread where they went through every English club they were linked to one by one - with even Palace making the list - with no mention at all of Sunderland :naughty:

The fucking irony if that happened though, having the mostest hewge asterisk going next to your only (worthwhile) trophy for generations, marra

Would be hilarious that. Just like Leeds pretending they have won a European Cup but infinitely more smalltime.

They don’t often mention that they were once fined a record amount (albeit the previous record fine was given to us) and relegated due to financial irregumarraties.

They'll try and lay claim to anything, regardless how far fetched, and when hit with reality, brush it off or twist it to fit.

Shocked due to their shipbuilding roots they haven't lay claim to marratime law. Originally from the docks on the wear, where MLF were so fucking hard, what they said goes, including at sea, and the king at the time came up to sunderland to beg if he could use it and adopt it across the worlds seas. After agreeing to adopt red and white on the flag of England in return, marratime law was created; only the southern cunts couldn't understand them and by the time they reached London it landed as maritime law.

Rest is history. Etc...

I'd say a bigger reason they won't be awarded the cup is because Man City are being charged by the Premier League who have no control over the League Cup
