Feel physically sick that they might be a Premier League side this time tomorrow.

They're shite but Sheffield United aren't much better, and Sunderland looked just as good as them in the league.

Still debating whether to watch it or not, think I'll avoid it and check the result, will piss me off far too much to watch them win, would outweigh watching them lose, in terms of the biggest risk.

Fuck em, stay down forever, no chance we want to be playing these freaks next season.

Give owa man try being around when we lost to them in the playoffs that’s sickening, would love them to lose tomorrow but won’t ruin my weekend if they do.

Has Fender ever actually tweeted, said or sang anything anti-Sunderland?

Not that I’m aware of

And actually I played against him on FIFA and he was Sunderland and I was Newcastle. True story

Wouldn't really mind either outcome tomorrow, I can see why people would want nothing but misery for them based on some of the posts shared in here from RTG and social media, however I'm not sure either of those places are an entirely fair representation of their fans. For me the derby day dread/anticipation does add something to the football season; albeit not as much as in previous years, as it's certainly been replaced by the anticipation of the high stakes games we play nowadays challenging at the top end of the league.

Actually, I foresee us having to play them away in an early Saturday kick-off after playing Real Madrid away on the Wednesday and I'd rather not.

The thought of them lot having joy, or smiling, or singing songs. Being more visible on TV, hearing their name more often. Having to write about them.

Nah, no thanks. Not a chance.

Mate, if they do come up, and there's a decent chance tbf as they're up against serial bottlers in Sheff Utd, their marquee summer signing will be Le Fee, a lad who's struggled in the Championship.

See Southampton this season? Well the red and white stripes won't be the only thing sunderland have in common with them next season.

I think Sheffield United should and will win but if they don’t I’m fairly relaxed about it. Sunderland have a terrible squad very few if any are real premier league quality. If they do come up it won’t be a fun season for them next season

Why would you have to write about them?

Mind, Sunday in town could be interesting with the mackems travelling back into Central station from London over the course of the day.  Northumbria Plod must be getting a bit of overtime.
