See they've all came out of the woodwork on the socials.

It's all "not played anyone yet"

One idiot has just claimed they've got "4 points from the last two games, Chelsea and Arsenal"

Didn't they draw with Everton on Monday?

They were aggressive first half and Arsenal played into their hands. Arsenal missed two very decent chances at the same time and Sunderland scored with their only real chance. Second half until the final 10 minutes, Arsenal kept the ball and Sunderland were being ran around, before Arteta inexcusably brought another defender on and then just sitting back. Arsenal should have been a few up by then also. They battle for everything though.

The usual suspects absolutely feasting off the Mackems being decent

I fuckin hate them but I need some copium. Admitting they're half decent might help with my mental health if they beat us. The absolute bastard cunts.

Fuck me, I wish we carried as much luck as they do like.

Don't get me wrong, they're organised and useful on the counter, but the amount of late goals they get from unforced errors is ridiculous. It stretches back to last season too.

Aye, but you have to create your own luck at times. Once or twice is luck, six or seven times is not rolling over and playing to the final whistle

Plenty of teams fall into that category and don't have the opposition keeper regularly chucking one in for them mind.

Or a calamity of an own goal and a shot which was a comfortable save before a wicked deflection.

But luck runs out eventually...

Strong, physical side who don’t give up but they’ll no doubt hit a bad patch at some point or lose some momentum. The derby will be mental in December but we’ve got the right players to mix it with them and we should have a full deck of cards by then.

They're squeezing every last drop out of their new squad, the way the fixtures have fallen and seem to capitalise on a staggering amount of mistakes that their opponents make. They're outperforming in many metrics but it's also absolutely fair enough, they're organised and working hard, they've got a plan for each game and they're executing it really well, there's no point in trying to deny it. I do think they'll fade as the season goes on and drop down and finish about 13th but they'd have been more than happy with that in July.

We just need to focus on ourselves and let these cunts take care of themselves, it's a very, very tight league this year and a bad month could see a team rising or falling by 7 or 8 places. Long way to go yet, things will correct themselves

Way they play you would expect them to start picking up Ian Duries soon enough, that high tempo, high press only lasts as long as you have the players fit enough to do it, take Xhaka out & they will be an ill disciplined rabble

Rather play them in a months time than now to be fair

They will circle the pan for a bit but will flush eventually
