Scoreboard82
We'd be in denial if we didn't admit they've had a dream start but that doesn't stop me wishing they'd end up in the national league or even better cease to exist at all.

Holloway
As long as we match them in desire, that's all you can ask for considering our patchy form. The last 15 yesterday they wanted it more than Arsenal imo, and deserved their point. If we turn up we can certainly inflict damage on them, they are obviously looking solid but we have way more quality. Folk being happy for them give ya heeds a wobble
Cornah
My only slight ‘worry’ about playing these at the moment is keeping eleven men on the pitch, their thuggish Wimbledon style will have our own hot heads walking a tightrope most of the game. Should be a fiery spicy affair like. Can’t wait.

I remember the makems being really cocky leading up to the 5-1 game. We were newly promoted and out of form - "You're getting humped at least 3-0" was a line I can recall from a makem mate... It’ll be the same for the derby too. Good result last night. Did what we had to do against the best team in the league - keep it physical, go direct, look to bully them, and take the chances when they come. Clinical stuff. We’re halfway to the survival target after 11 games. Just keep looking to pick up results whilst the bottom 6 continue to struggle. Not what I read on RTG. Andy84
It’s slowly building for them to be expected beat us. Maybe that’s for the best tbh, we're in Leverkusen midweek as well. You’d certainly have them favourites at the minute Edited November 9, 2025 by Andy84

Have people forgot how they acted when we got relegated, when we got taken over, when they magically became aware of human rights and experts on geopolitical issues. They are fucking rotten, I wish nothing but the worse for them. Seems strange but I've noticed since they've moved above us in the league, there's barely been a peep about human rights from them

BlueStar
Weren't they doing pretty well in the league before we beat them in the cup and the collective grief spiral of getting a spanking off the Mags sent them into a tailspin for months after? Hopefully we can replicate that this season.

ExiledGeordie
Everything currently suggests they’ll turn us over at theirs come Mid December. But this is a derby and things can change pretty quickly. A few wins can ramp up confidence, injuries can effect either team before then (if they lost Zhaka or Ballard for example) plus I’ll be feeling far more confident with both full backs back and Wissa as an attacking option even off the bench.
