Fuck me, I wish we carried as much luck as they do like.

Don't get me wrong, they're organised and useful on the counter, but fuck me the amount of late goals they get from unforced errors is ridiculous. It stretches back to last season too.

Remember the Leeds one from last season where their keeper essentially

Missed the ball and it rolled into his own net

They look a really physical side much like us

Look like how we used to be, but we appear to have shifted away from such intensity these days.

Feel like we've missed a bit of that recently.

Aren't they losing 9 players to AFCON?

Wait, will the lose players for our game or not? I'm sure it has been covered.

"However, there is a possibility that some players will leave early for the tournament ahead of the Gameweek 16 fixtures."

The confidence and momentum they have is gonna be horrible to play against considering we’re on the other end of that scale.

It’d be in Eddie’s best interest to win, obviously. The idiots will call for his sacking if they beat us.

Still a lot of games between now and then for momentum on either side to swing.

They’re a decent team by the looks of things but I still believe they’ll drop to mid table by the end of the season. Hopefully a few morale sapping defeats soon will start this levelling out.

Think sometimes you’ve just go to give credit where it’s due, they’ve been a great addition to the league and look like they belong here. They seem to have invested well and found a suitable manager. Xhaka and Roefs on early evidence look like masterstrokes, and I’m not sure of the lad’s name but their number 6 is really impressive.

What impressed me today is that I thought their midfield would be given the run-around by Rice, Zubimendi and Eze, but I think they at least held their own. That’s impressive.

I am desperate for our respective form to switch places before the derby, but whatever happens between now and then they’re going to be rabid and it’s going to be a horrible fixture to navigate. I think Howe will be dedicating extra time to planning that particular fixture as he understands the significance.

Reckon Woltemade will score a legend-making goal against them.

They look better than us, quicker and more physical, that's not what we were all expecting at the beginning of the season.

They’ve had a significantly easier start but if you’re comparing opponents they looked much better than us against Arsenal.

I don’t think they look quicker.

Totally disagree, they were giving the runaround in the second half apart from the final ten minutes, when Arteta stupidly went to a back five. First half they practically had 11 players playing in a low block.

Honestly, I'm happy for them. I obviously want us to do better but I'll only generally hate them on Derby day [emoji38]

Agree with this.......after all their fans have suffered over the last 20 odd years........they deserve it, and good to see North East football with some pride again.

I thought Arsenal dominated possession but they were very organised and hard to break down. Very big physical team who get the ball in the mixer and are first to 2nd balls quite often.

Don’t see much finesse in them but they’re very effective at the minute and the Derby is looking a huge challenge for us on current form.
