Pilko
Kind of feels like part of the derby day ritual drinking jagerbombs at 9am in front of a couple of chicken dippers. No idea where you'd go for that nowadays other than the actual rippers itself.

Ladbrokes to put an acca on and play the roulette waiting for Vaults to open. Get in there for £2 a pint and the rippers. I’d like to say I’m more cultured these days and I look back on that and shake my head. But I’d be lying. It was fucking class, TBH
Moose
Now that we're firmly in The Derby Build Up™️ period I'd like to take the opportunity to express how much I detest those mutants for hijacking and ruining my enjoyment of I Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis. I really want to sing along to it but I don't want to grow a sixth finger or become sexually attracted to seagulls Edited March 20 by Moose

But I never remembered them belting a out few lines of it and it being such a forced, pre-match ritual. That feels fairly recent?

There's that great scene on the Netflix documentary after Burton relegated them where they're singing along to it in tears, I thought it was just a one off karaoke, but no, apparently they've claimed it as their own, I think they have a fanzine or podcast called Wise Men Say. It's a small comfort knowing that Elvis died completely unaware of the existence of that hovel
TBG
Sam Jack's was the one. Nothing quite like watching some sexual deviant get exposed on Chatroulette whilst gawping at the scantily clad dancers. We used to be a proper country. Edited March 20 by TBG
Kilcline
They just join in/make it a "thing" now they're "good" again. I used to get to their place scouting fairly often when they were in leyg one and it was definitely played before games then, but no-one gave a fuck

I remember a young Spurs lad doing it and just chundering on stage into a bin in front of a packed house Didn’t they have a dentist chair on the stage and at one point, a buckin’ bronco in the corner? Halcyon days, these. Take me back.

It was great when you saw someone retching. Everyone watching going "oooooooooohhhhhh......WEYYYYYY!" Think the pint of lemonade swiftly followed by the milk would be what would absolutely kill me off.

I know a lass who was a lapdancer She’s happily married with two kids now and even if she was the one paying me the £’s I wouldn’t give her permission to rub her chebs in my kipper. Nice lass though, don’t get me wrong. Edited March 20 by bobbydazzla
