Drumville and Short financially doped and/or subsidised their last spell in the top division. You'd thinking living within your means would be the last thing they'd want as they're on a par with Norwich and West Brom for that but as long as it holds the Mags back, that's the most important thing.

The Gordon thread is rtg gold, they're desperate.

"The bottom is going to fall out of this for them eventually. Completely different situation to Man City. The mags think cos they’ve got a rich investor they can spend whatever they like. Some are already starting to turn against those running the ckub"

..and this beauty

"If Gordon Hoys in a transfer request ....then that might start a bit of a domino chain...isak and bruno might do the same

At which point the spend big and fast model creates it own monster"

Of course in their entirely fictitional scenario, they're (as usual) failing to follow the logic through....

If all those players threw their toys out and demanded to leave (Narrator - they won't), we'd have £3-400m to spend.

It's silly really. Them living within their means would see them be a yo yo club at best. All they will be able to do is chase survival in the tip flight, which was all thry were doing when thry could spend beyond their means, which overall means their best days are firmly behind them.

Penny will drop, but they'll be so far behind the real yo yo clubs all they can wish for is getting lucky in the playoffs.

Grim.

The Gordon thread, 45 pages on him now, it's worth going to the start of it to see the usual suspects expert opinions of how he would be shite.

Then this, almost pleading.

Anytime I go on that forum it just feels like you’ve jumped into a time warp from 2008 in terms of the knowledge and opinion on there

Try 1988. Despite us highlighting it there is occasionally some balanced discussion on there...as long as the airport, the North sea, Nissan, player valuations and Greggs aren't mentioned

There is no reasoned debate on there now. Anyone who dares to say anything positive about us is labeled a "mag".

And any of our supporters get the usual gravy stained top comeback, especially if you make a valid point they don't like.

It's no coincidence that no big bids (£20 million plus) have come in for ANY of their players including Clarke. They have a big thread on Clarke asking why. Are they really that thick that they can't see that these so called 'pick of any premier league club' stars, managed in all their brilliance to finish 16th in the league last year. The highest bid made for Clarke was under £15 million and the others mentioned would not be near £10 million.

I see there also trying to make out Rigg signing was a victory over us. I stick to my comments made yesterday about him. As I thought also they're starting to use seagull shagger for our support also. Shows how utterly thick they are trying to use an account set up by a mackem, with no posts and a NUFC cover and who was thick enough to make up the profile when the person responsible was in jail.

The fucker has between 5,000 and 20,000 (midweek) less fans than their actual attendance. It sticks out like a sore thumb and yet the thick cunts still go on about tickets sold. Total and utter bullshit that 5,000 plus fans pay for a ticket and then miss a game
