Absolutely. Joelinton wins a tackle in his own half and he gets a roar of approval. Give the crowd something to get behind and watch them come to life.

Took a goal to wake us up. Still seems very disjointed and giving the ball away far too much. Bruno and Almiron stand out in that first half. ASM still not finding the form, but the pass for Joelinton to run on to was sublime, shame it wasn't to a better player in front of goal. We can win this but need to step it up a gear.

I think he must have a panic attack when he gets anywhere near goal, can't think of any other explanation

Decent in a couple of spells, just as they were. They scored from a well-worked corner and we did from a scrappy, poorly defended one.

 

Some good work from Maxi, including passes to others who swifted effed up what were promising opportunities. 

 

More action in their box than ours, so the match is there to be won. If Targett had headed across from that clipped ball from Bruno, it would have been two-one.
