'we were shit'

'why were you shit?'

'dunno just really shit'

'how shit were you?'

'very shit'

'you've really fucked it up you know'

I had a feeling about tonight n'all. Had an inkling that Arsenal would be nervous and felt that there was a bit of a 'crescendo' to the season for us and for Howe to be had. We hadn't beaten one of the top sides yet so this was our last chance. We looked incredibly up for it and were excellent inn every department. Get in.

I’m a little bit emotional with that performance tonight.

It’s like a little glimpse of the future. I can almost smell the European nights again.

I didn't even cry when the boy was born in December [emoji38]

So this is what fans of other clubs have experienced over the last 14years when their team wins, the lucky swines.

Lads I don't know how I coped during KK and Sir Bobby if I'm this chuffed by this.

Arsenal messed up in January, they never had the depth or supplemented their youth and players like Saka have been running on fumes for weeks. Their entire defence being half fit doesn't help either.

We're not that far away, you know. We need to bulk the squad out a bit and we need 20 quality players in the squad but it's not that far away chaps. Let's look at this in 2 years and see where we are.

We're playing catch-up but we've got the cash boost coming.

Fair play Arteta.

Feel bad for the way the guy is getting peppered like he just lost to a league 2 side or something.

Once Wilson started the game there was always a chance we'd look very very dangerous. It's been clear that we were just missing a bit more quality upfront, and it could make a significant difference.

Wor flags have played a massive part in this tonight mind.

The atmosphere was unreal and the players would def had fed off it

I think the subs we brought on were absolutely indicative of this. Desperate for strength in depth. And it's coming.

We’re an absolute fortress nowadays. When teams come next season they’re going to be intimidated from the whistle, hasn’t been like that for twenty years

Giving Chambers, Maitland Niles and PEA away for a combined total of nothing made no sense then and makes even less sense now.

I'm not sure how it's possible but Eddie Howe plays the exact opposite football to Steve Bruce

Bruce on his way out was still telling us it couldn't be changed over night and blaming Rafa for the team not being able to change how they played
