get an agency or a designer in place who understands the club and its heritage and it'll be good. crowdsourcing designs never works. it's nonsense.

Knew it was coming, would prefer it if they just simplify the current crest.

We got a trophy with this badge, so I'm less fussed if it's put out to pasture, the same with the stadium.

 

Why not allow the fans to decide the new badge?

 Exactly it’s nearly 40 years. The badge is fine the way it is. I think new owners could maybe wait more than 4 years before getting rid of it but that’s just me.

But that's just an arbitrary date, what changes in the next 4 years that means it can't just happen now?

The three previous crests were updated after 7, 7, and 5 years respectively. So if we’re looking to retain the history and tradition of the club, it’s roughly 35 years overdue to be changed.

Every date is arbitrary, but my opinion is changing something that has been in place nearly 40 years, after being in control of a club for 4 is not right. Just the way I see it. Especially for the transparently BS reasons they are giving. I like our badge, I like the fact it’s not just corporate sludge.

Genuinely happy to be proved wrong but can anyone point to a badge being changed in the modern era that got better? In my mind they have all been terrible
