What a turning point this was.....know we bought well that window, but still can't believe we ended up finishing 11th was 100% convinced we were going down after the Watford game the week before.

Yeah it was a monumental effort from Eddie and co to get us safe.

Favourite away day in recent memory. Well, possibly overtaken by Arsenal recently.

100% this!

It was one of the flatest I've ever felt leaving SJP after that (sure Pedro equalised late on for them).

From the euphoria of the takeover three months earlier to what looked like nailed-on relegation!

Everyone was down in the dumps in the boozer when we met up afterwards and everyone was convinced we were down!

Peak Bruce comments in this one. What a man.

Was such a blow losing to them in that fashion given they had been stinking up the wankership a year or two before under Brewcie and overtaking us so fast whilst we were stuck with the cabbage headed prick.

Jack Grealish screaming «keep going these guys are shit!» after their 2nd summed it all up. Dire fucking times

That season was my personal nadir. Lowest I've ever felt and COVID/lockdown on top of that. Grim.

I think also February onwards that season is why I'll always have a massive soft spot for Willock; despite him being poor for a while now these days. Him and ASM were all we had at that point (as Wilson was injured mostly, again).

I can’t be the only one who barely remembers the matches from the Covid era(s)?!

Not a sausage. All the matches on all the time whilst sober and I seem to have deleted them or consigned them to the deepest darkest reaches of my brain. Yet can still remember minute by minute detail of games from the late 90s/early 00s where I was cabbaged.
