And let's say that they have to have been atleast somewhat regulars, it's can't be someone like Kuqi. Rivière, but largely because he’s probably in Top 10 worst ever footballers to play for the club in the top division. Outside of him, Thauvin. Never really wanted to be here from the start, and if you’re not fully and completely invested, Howe has no time for you.
Hanshithispantz
Thauvin was absolutely hated for a series of completely asinine reasons tbf. Sure he was booed and had 'you're not fit to wear the shirt' after 3 games or something even though he looked promising. Then there was the Tuxedo craic. Looking at what he done afterwards I think Howe would have had him firing.
GEFAFWISP
We binned ASM as he wasn't a Howe player, so him.
The Butcher
HBA would never work under Howe.

joeyt
Siem de Jong may have genuinely died if he was put on Howe's fitness regime
Pilko
I think Eddie would have given HBA a chance and definitely utilised him, but like Maxi he would have been the first to be dispensed with when decent money was on the table.

He was constantly on top of the distance-covered/sprinting charts during his time here, league-wide as well as just club level, which is probably why he was so goosed in the latter stages of a lot of games. The College Dropout
Cabaye was a hard worker. He just wasn’t athletically gifted. Like Bruno.
Jonas
A fit Lejuene in Howe's defences, a fit Viduka in the Wood role - the most fanciful thing isn't the time travel but their availability. Ruling Ben Arfa out only for questionable work rate that Howe might not approve of. Think Townsend's been a great shout.
