I’m surprised that we haven’t been updated on the club badge yet. I would have thought that they would want to get it over a down with before the pre-season friendlies.

Why? The press release at the time said it wouldn’t be coming in until 26-27 season.

Shirt designs are all completed about a year in advance.

Many clubs in the past who have changed their club badge have shown fans what it will be and went through the process of selecting a badge ahead of the final season.

I’m sure someone on here (Sewelly maybe?) made a compilation video of our season after we finished 5th under Pardew. Had ‘shake it off’ by Florence as the theme tune.

Can’t find it anywhere. Anyone know if it’s still around??

So basically tomorrow’s announcement is a waste of time in terms of the September fixtures

Hopefully they have the sense to anticipate potential European dates but I’ve lost all faith in common sense after they scheduled Chelsea for Saturday lunchtime when they were nailed on to play Thursday night.

Liverpool one’s a bit of a shitter, but happy enough with Leeds.

Not sure what time the last one would be, but it is a hike back to the station from the ground.

Aye it's a fair old schlep over the motorway and through that industrial estate :) - not sure I'd enjoy risking it if I had a ticket - Given how close it'd be a supporters bus

ST holders have been emailed out to on a vote about changing the way away tickets are sold. I say ‘changing’, but it’s a potential administrative change rather than a change to who might be able to access them (that will remain unchanged whichever option they go for).

Personally, I don’t think there’s any particular ‘moral dilemma’ in terms of what’s fairest here, so I’d just say vote for whatever suits your personal circumstances best.

Hey lads, hope you're all looking forward to this weekend up here in Glasgow. I tried to start a new thread for this, but I can't seem to. Apologies if this isn't allowed, so feel free to move or delete if so.

Hope you don't mind the quick message. I work for a hospitality group with a pub called Committee Room 9, based in the City Centre area of Glasgow. From following my club each season, I know how difficult it is for visiting supporters to know where they can enjoy a pint and safely catch-up before and after matches in new cities. With that, I'm keen to let you know, and if it helps in your planning at all, we're here for you, and all Newcastle United supporters, to enjoy while you're in Glasgow.
We have a fantastic selection of draught beers, a large outdoor area and a live DJ on from 7pm until late. We're also open until 1am, so ideal for celebrating your 6-0 win into the wee hours for those staying overnight.

As we say with everyone we get in touch with, feel free to share and tag us on Instagram or Facebook, to any WhatsApp groups, etc. We can manage any bookings, or more than happy to help anyone out with their visit as best we can.

For more information, feel free to drop me an email, the General Manager a line on [email protected], or alternatively, book directly via our website: https://committeeroom9.co.uk.

Cheers, lads, again, apologies if this isn't allowed, but I hope you have a brilliant day and safe travels to everyone making the journey!
