The Athletic have done a club by club article of worst Prem decisions and Chris Waugh has picked Keith Stroud against Burton in the Prem for us

I think I'd have gone for the Livramento handball against PSG last year, or Ederson taking out Fraser and not getting a penalty or Tiote's disallowed goal vs City

Personally it has to be the Stroud decision for me. The other ones are horrendous, and are worthy of discussion, but they're still in-play decisions that have a degree of subjectivity about them.

Keith Stroud simply made up a rule on the spot, it wasn't subjective, it was just flat out incorrect, and was due to his own incompetence of not knowing the rule.

I think what makes the Burton stand out is that all of the others are lest subjective to some degree, I mean, aye, all blatantly wrong, but for every foul/handball decision you have to interpret what you see and then make a decision. But that night against Burton he just didn’t know the rules, or least forgot them.

That "double penalty" situation vs sunderland before they went on the counter and got a pen + Colo red card

Also the Boly elbow on Perez when he was just about the head in the winner only for them to get instead

RvP elbow on Cabaye before scoring

Jesus - so many bad memories. Tino handball is probably the worst though
