bobbydazzla
Pretty much sums it up.... Feeling like you're being taken advantage of is a common experience, often stemming from a pattern of one-sided relationships or interactions. It's important to recognize the signs, understand the reasons behind it, and take steps to protect yourself. Doctor Zaius
Sorry but £58 is an absolute piss take. Fuck this like. If it was Ashley, people would be up in arms. Edited July 21, 2025 by Doctor Zaius
AyeDubbleYoo
I always go for the cheapest sections like Leazes corner, can’t remember the price for these games there last year. Nearly £60 for a football match is a lot though, if I don’t win in the ballot I’d probably need a good transfer window and Isak firing to buy a general sale ticket. HaydnNUFC
There were a couple times the only seats left last season were in the Milburn for a general sale. Given it's another 5% increase (the third one in three years), the cost of a one off ticket in there particularly in the Platinum Club I imagine are a cunt hair off £90 for Category A games. Be £70 for where I usually try and sit in the East Stand to be near my dad and those we go with. Can see myself missing a few games this season tbh. These prices are frankly lifting and I was loathe to pay them as they were last season.
ryanegg
Prices everywhere and for every thing are up. Maybe not 20%, but a lot are. If you want us to be a top team, you're gonna be paying top prices. It's not ideal, but it's life in 2025.
RodneyCisse
When you factor in the cost of the membership now too, and lack of potential to actually have the ability to spend money on a ticket, plus the £40 quid you’ll spend when in town that day too. The club has a choice.

I've not looked into it properly so happy to stand corrected. Edited July 21, 2025 by ryanegg

Thing that sticks in the craw is that ticket prices for members have been raised once again and we've still got to pay for their same old, same old dogshit membership scheme that's basically just a £40 tax to be allowed to try and get a ticket It's just take, take, take because they know that the level of demand means they can get away with it Edited July 21, 2025 by bobbydazzla
Pablo
Ticket price increases are quite inevitable as far as I am concerned, every year. PSR removes any ability for the owners to fund the business and be competitive so every aspirational club in the land will have to charge more to the match going fan. Even ManChester reds fans are feeling the pinch, with the negative impacts on oap and disabled fans well publicised last year. Season tickets and match by match fans will be fleeced from this point on. Don’t worry though, it’s in the best interests of 6 cartel clubs as the current financing of football ensures they reign supreme.

Sibierski
In the ballot we go, can't really do the Liverpool game as wouldn't get back home till 3ish in the morning but seeing as I got 0 last season, might as well go in and see what the success works out this time round. Groundhog63
Currently having an email exchange with Supporter Services. No biggie really, just we've 2 x Member+ but, when they send out email links to competitions, we only get one email. Obvs Memberships are linked for tickets and ballots but it a bit of a swizz missing out on entries to other competitions we won't win 😉😂

plenum
Got an e-mail from the club that ballot is now open for Liverpool. Clicked on the link 'Enter ballot' Login automatically and then reach a page that says 'There are no ballots currently open' Shouldn't there be some kind of confirmation that I've actually entered the ballot? Sorry, first time Im trying this.

Aye, Business Club members get first dibs on it all, they use that as a carrot to get you to join when they tell you there's no seasonal hospitality passes available, so naturally loads join then buy up Barracks game by game as it's the cheapest option by a distance. Interpolic
How many games are category A? Assuming "big 6" plus mackems at £58 a game and the rest at £55 a game (if also an £8 increase) then it'll cost a member £1,103 to get to all PL games in the cheapest seats. Sure such members will still be treated like scum of the earth and again be given as much chance of a big game ticket as people who have entered one ballot. And goes without saying that there'll be STHs in here and on twitter justifying it
