Left back wise, Tierney would be perfect if he wasn't held together by elastic bands.

Some Arsenal Twitter fans want him in the team ahead of Zinchenko.

I like the idea of a left-back that's good defensively and in the air and can distribute from the back. I would welcome a better Dan Burn.

Sounds like Targett to me?

Zinchenko's been brilliant whenever I've seen him for Arsenal. He is very suspect defensively though and when Arsenal are up against it defending a lead - they need to take him out earlier or just move him into midfield. He was getting ripped in the wide spaces against Liverpool.

Is Targett good in the air? I always thought Targett was susceptible to pace in defence himself (but not to the extent of Burn).

Can't be arsed to compare with other full-backs but last season he won 51 aeriel battles and lost 26 so 2 in 3 almost.

Burn has won 68 and lost 31 this season so only slightly better percentages.

Laporte is the one with the least minutes. Don't know if he's injured.

Ake would be a brilliant addition but he seems to haved moved damn near to the top of the pile at City.

Ake would have been perfect.

I wouldn't go near Gallagher like. He's a London lad plus I've never been impressed with him at all. Doesn't look very quick or have a good engine on him. I'd rather hoy an extra 20 million on the price for rice atleast you can see he's a good player.

You might want to check where Rice is from ... :)

If Gvardiol goes to Man City then Ake might be available. He's been tremendous this season though so maybe not.

Doubt they could afford to lose him from the home grown numbers needed

Some City fans on another forum were saying the other day that he’s been their best defender and possibly even their best player overall this season, which seems mad considering who’s up front.

Ake was like our Joelinton last season.

I really don't see the point with Gallagher. He is decent yes, but somehow reminds me of Ross Barkley. High risk high reward, because the price would be ridiculous. If he costs 40 million or something we better not go anywhere near. 20 million maybe, but young English player from top EPL team? Not going with that price. Too expensive, and having a good engine and working hard is not something you pay 40 million for.

At Palace, absolutely everything went through him. He definitely has more to his game than hard work.

That might be, but hasn't really shown anything at Chelsea. I remain sceptical until I see him having a second decent season.

Has he ever had a consistent run of games at Chelsea in his preferred position? I don't think he has this season, not sure about last.

There aren't many worse situations for a young player than Chelsea this season. Dysfunction, three managers, and tons of talent to compete with for regular playing time.
