Don't want to piss us off too much because of the Saudi money, no doubt

The stance has always been, “he’s not available at any price” because it would be disastrous. So I don’t know why Liverpool think our line of thinking has changed.

We’ve heard they’ll only bid if they’re are encouraged. It seems like all of this bollocks going through Romano, Hope and the rest is to put pressure on the club, to make it seem like Isak is getting agitated with our position and to make us break.

Pool know our position which is “no way, no how, not any time, not any place”. The way they have gone about it is disgraceful, but they know it’s their only game plan.

Another one 🤣

Liverpool are like 13 year old me wanting to go out with Joanne. Weeks later I heard her friend Caroline wanted to talk to me, hope ensued, but when I asked her she denied it.

It's ridiculous and then they'll sign him anyway on deadline day.

Aside from being a heathen for eating roast potatoes this late on a Sunday 😅 you don't need to trawl 300 pages.

Suspect most of us who want the cunt gone would also be happy if he stayed a year and got us 20-30 goals, was just curious if the quotes you'd given had also said the same. Enjoy your dinner, just mopped up my curry 😋

I ended up burning them anyway, bloody air fryer.

I really don't know what to expect here but I want us to dig our heels in and fuck them off me like. I don't really give a fuck whether that upsets Isak, he can fuck off next summer once we have our ducks in a row.

Don't be ridiculous, there's no way we sell on deadline day and leave ourselves short for the season ahead.

Isak is elite, that can’t be argued, not the best striker in the world as many seem to say he is but also not far off and absolutely in the top group of strikers and with the obvious potential to be the best.

That being said, for parts of the last season he wasn’t great or even good at times and the whole time he has been here i have never been convinced he is totally connected with the club, doesnt seem to have gotten under his skin like it does to some and he seems quite cold and like its just his job so not overly shocked he wants to leave.

The way he has gone about it leaves a bad taste and it’s deeply frustrating the way some mistreat our historic, iconic and unique club and see it as some sort of stepping stone.

The invention of ffp has made the game i love a farce, it’s tiresome and rigged for the biggest clubs to get bigger and keep the rest at arms length, this era of football truly stinks. And just to add to this, people like Romano are absolute parasites.

Anyway, Isak, get rid but get rid at the maximum price, don’t be treated like a doormat by Liverpool or anyone else, 150 minimum, with a huge upfront payment, not installments across the next ampint of years, they want him so bad make them pay and then we must reinvest the money well to take us another level higher, which is easier said than done.

It's so fucking weird this waiting for us to agree to sell befor making a bid, I don't remeber that ever being a thing in an othrr transfer.

We're a small club. We should be happy they're paying for him at all.

I tell you what this has done though, it’s united us a fanbase with the way Isak/Liverpool have gone on.

This siege mentality can be a good thing, just need the board to do their part and we can turn this into a positive.

I'm of this line of thinking as well. I think this has all been orchestrated with Isak's agent, liverpool, and their contacts in the media.

We said not for sale, Liverpool got wind that Isak is open to the move, and they devised a plan to go full press in the media, Alex to sit out a pre-season tour with an injury, and see if we crack from the pressure. Hopefully we ride this out and carry on as usual. Notice nothing from Isaks camp about not playing for Newcastle again, or threatening a strike like we saw from Wissa at Brentford. Think they know if this fails he'll have to return with his tail between his legs. They porbably thought the injury story would protect his rep while they try this tactic, but it looks like its backfired.

I’m starting to think that Liverpool know they have next to no chance of signing him in this window. They won’t pay what it takes and are probably prepared to wait. They are just playing it ugly to unsettle him to hopefully take advantage next season for a much lower price.

Isn't it what clubs are meant to do, and what we've been trying to do all summer, buy better players? 😀 .

It's almost as if we're in a position of strength, but according to the dog blower, it's inevitable.

It's also following an official "no"

Clear attempt to unsettle and try and force a transfer using completely backwards logic.

I’ve come to terms with the likelihood that he’ll leave — that’s no longer my main concern. What matters now is how the club manages the situation. It’s absolutely crucial they control the narrative and handle the sale entirely on their terms, with the club’s long-term interests at the forefront.

I’ll be genuinely furious if they cave to any low-ball offer from Liverpool. This deal has to reflect the player’s true value. Even more importantly, reinforcements must be secured before any sale is sanctioned. Ideally, this transfer should go through at the very end of deadline day — not a moment sooner.

This is the exact reason we should wait and why they've done such underhanded tactics to unsettle him, they don't want a bidding war, they want us to roll over for a bit of dry pokey bum while they take our prize asset from us and we thank them for the pennies.
