I'd offer him less but with a nice shiny release clause, the twat  obvs a terrible idea for many reasons but he deserves very little for the way he's gone on.

Bruno signed a new contract with a wage rise in October 2023, which extended his commitment for two years, until 2028.

 

Gordon signed a new contract in October 2024, with a pay rise, extending to 2030.

 

Isak is under contract until 2028.  If he's willing to extend until 2030 (without a release clause that would make the contract term meaningless) then go for it, with a healthy pay bump.  Make him the top earner at the club.  Even give him a guarantee that he always will be top earner. But if he isn't -- if he just wants more money, a favourable release clause and no extension beyond 2028 -- which I'm sure is the case, then give him nothing.  Tell him to honour his contract.  I honestly don't think he wants a new extended contract. He just wants to go.
