Nicolas Jackson is now refusing to return to Chelsea after they blocked his loan to Bayern [emoji38] A veritable epidemic of stroppiness this window. Clubs should be worried. The Isak Affair might really be a test case for how to manage these player strikes going forward.

Really? That's nuts, he's got about another 20 years on his contract 😳

Liverpool are clearly not going to bid his true value and only want him at a distressed price. As long as we hold firm and don't entertain it, we will be able to bring Isak back into the fold once it's clear they were just trying it on. He'll reintegrate fine once it's there in black and white that they never really took the move seriously.

Agreed, only question mark for me is, if Liverpool really are just planning to low ball and hope we're desperate, it leaves them with no time to get another body in which most seem to agree they need.

If whats reported is true, you'd think there'd be other links in the press.

But so far it seems like they're quietly confident they will eventually get him. Guess we'll find out soon either way

Any guesses to when the bid might become public knowledge? Maybe after Liverpool have played today?

Tomorrow is my guess.

Liverpool are going to wait for a call they aren't going to receive and set the media shills to go.

They can always make a last minute move for Wissa if the Isak lowballing doesn't work. They can afford it.

Ornstein says Chelsea expect Jackson to be back at Chelsea, because "they of course wont leave themselves short", but seems like everyone expects us to leave us a man short?

He’s not been offered wagers over Jackson to publicise that move.

Seeing our two biggest-hearted player’s reaction to the “Isak’s a cunt” song when they were clapping the away end after full time tells me there is 100% no way back for the rat.

(Bruno and Burn if you hadn’t guessed!)!

What was their reaction?

Were the fans singing "Isak is a cunt" at the end of the game when the players were clapping them? My impression was that chant was happening during the game.

Honestly I think the players were always going to go clap the fans regardless of what they were singing. They do it every game, especially away from home.
