I think you’re probably right - playing a handful of games for Man Utd pretty much guaranteed at least one cap. Funny thing is that we’ve managed to push our way towards that group of clubs - we had six players in the last (massively expanded) England squad, but based on form I don’t think half of them would’ve been called up if we were still seen as a bottom-half club

I don’t think he’s international quality mind, but his output was enough for a spot in the squad.

The Fountain
The difference in the number of goals Liverpool score when he's off the pitch as opposed they score when he's on the pitch is staggering.

Heron
It's a sad state of affairs really. If Isak had have stayed here he may have also had his leg bust, but we were building something really strong and it's not helped all parties that whole debacle. EDIT: Except for his agent. "Great movement" That sounds like us on here clutching at straws with Elanga. What I mean by that is the bar is set so incredibly low that just seeing him do things that any functioning footballer would do effortlessly gives us hope that he isn't a complete write off and we didn't just spunk an obscene amount on him. But deep down we know we're kidding ourselves and the transfer will likely never work out.
