Hey, he doesn't care as he doesn't really have empathy. Loyalty is not a concept for some people; he's self-justifying his actions by making up stuff that, to be honest, didn't really happen - hence just alluding at 'promises' and such without any evidence.

Liverpool (and any club he plays for) will also discover this in time. It's not even that he's a rat, or a snake, in the end. Just an empty 'professional' who will do a job, make his money, and leave, passionless and mechanically. What a life.

You could have used this template for fellow cunt and terrible human being, Michael Owen.

It says everything you need to know on that article. Where he says there's things you can't control, what he could control is going on strike. To force the move and for us to accept bids we do snt want to given the contract situation and the bids on the table. Basically confirms he's a rat cunt in all but words.

Actually think Owen is undiagnosed neurodivergent [autistic] and is just oblivious.

Funnily enough.  I was listening to the Monday Night Club podcast this morning.  It felt like they were almost saying that about him, without saying that.

Anyway.  No deal.  Still an absolute cunt.  But Isak has already passed him in the cunt league table.

I never felt as much emotion with Owen.  As I didn't ever want him here and I wasn't excited in the slightest by the signing for various reasons.  One of the rare times I called it right on a player.

I fear for people's mental health in here when he's banging them in left, right and centre for the dippers.

You have to separate the two extremes really. Massive wanker - brilliant footballer. I think you can be unbelievably annoyed and call him out for the way he engineered the move and disrespected the club whilst at the same time appreciating the quality of his football. I enjoy seeing people succeed and doing things well. You can’t dispute that however talented he is there will have been incredible effort, discipline and some sacrifices made by him to succeed. I don’t hope he does well at all obviously but if he does that’s life and there is a lot to be admired but at the same time a lot to be disliked.

Owen clearly didn't want to come in the first place and always gave that attitude.

Isak has a cold demeanour (he's maintained this in his Liverpool interview), but he was all in at points for us, definitely. That ending will raise question marks for sure.

This. I've maintained for a while now that Isak has a cold personality, he's just not the type to get attached to any club. If he moves to Real or Barcelona he'll drop Liverpool like a bad smell if Spain is where he wants to be next. It's just money or career progression for him. Owen never respected us and was pining for Liverpool even when he played for us. Not even a contest in my view.

Liverpool fans won't give a shit if he's a massive wanker while he is scoring the goals to earn them more trophies.

It reminds of one of the greatest football chants of all time, from the Arsenal fans after Arsenal swapped out Ashley Cole for William Gallas, which was

I'd rather have a Willy than a Cunt!

Owen lost it when his hamstrings went wanky. The great strikers do it all their career. Once he lost his pace he was a shadow of his former self. Al adapted. So did Del Piero. Owen was like Jeffers, Fowler, Smith etc - passed 24 and went to shit.
