Can only hope that it's partly not wanting to continue the news cycle, because the way they've all been proper zen over this is a bit annoying tbh. I don't expect them to be bitter and twisted about it - it's better that their energy is put into the team - but a bit of pride for themselves, their profession, the club, and the fans over this wouldn't go a fucking miss. I dunno, I'm over it tbh. The players are closer to this than us, they probably see it from a player's POV. They have a limited career, they probably want to win everything possible, and doubling your wages probably doesn't hurt.
