Alexander Isak: has a chance to play against Everton (Howe)

Recommended Posts

Haha, Barcelona? If he's gonna make something up, at least pick a team who could actually register him, regardless of whether they could afford him.

I know it doesn't mean it isn't a foul.  But I thought it telling for both Isak's goal on Tuesday and THAT goal against Arsenal.  Neither Odegaard or Gabriel complained about a foul.

It's been standard play for I don't know how long, from both defenders and attackers. Total nonsense to try and make a story out of it now.

Didn't they recently struggle to register a player?

In what world can they afford Isak like.

Danny Olmo no less, top talent

I’ve been watching Isak for a while and I can confirm he’s a pretty decent centre forward.

I wouldn’t be surprised if others have watched him and came to the same conclusion.

I’m still on the fence

Been saying this for ages and it's starting to finally dawn on these dummies.

They cannot afford him! He's been too good.

Once clubs are forking out £115 million for Caicedo, then there's just no chance.

Any fee for Isak has to now start at a fair bit higher than that.

That £150 million is no longer sounding so crazy.

That's the baseline and there's what, maybe 3-4 clubs (Bayern, PSG, Real, Liverpool?) that can afford that fee. Arsenal  , nahhhh.

Eh !! So PSR affects the Sky6 as well ? I don't think that's how it's supposed to work.

Yeah, it absolutely does.

They may have more money, but they spend significantly more on fees and wages so they end up in the same boat.

The funny thing is we've actually ended up with players at the same level and even  better than a number of theirs while shopping at a lower price point.
