done his job with the pen when called upon. but normally has bags of energy.. there was hardly any high press and closing down keeper today. however, whole front line wasn’t at their best today so..maybe just one of those games

Burn said in his post match interview that the tactic wasn't to press Brighton as much as we usually do

His decline in form can be traced back to Gordon coming out of the starting Xl. He’s still had some moments since then as world class players do, but he’s looked subdued and starved of service. We’re not playing on the transitions effectively enough which is where he’s so dangerous.

He's also clearly carrying something that's holding him back imo. Clear as day.

Said it weeks ago now but he's not been fit since before the cup final , he's playing because even a half Isak is better than anything else we could have up front .

Edwards done a piece today having a go at Isak and Bruno apparently although I’ve not read it myself.

Probably at the request of EH so he can pin it up on the dressing room wall. 4D chess

An Isak 5 star show on Sunday to blow Chelsea away please.

Doesn't look remotely capable at the moment with whatever mystery issue he has.

Can you drop this in the match thread at the weekend because he usually scores shortly after you do. Cheers.

When I watch that I cant help but think if the Everton players involved in that moment have watched it back as many times as me.

I'd have contemplated retirement if it had been done to me.

Even better when you just watch Michael Keane. There’s one point where his body has been twisted in all directions and he has no idea where the ball has gone.

Just watched again for the 437th time. Poor lad, there was one point that Alex has twisted him up so much he physically cant move himself back to have another go, just stuck on his heels.

Some player, and that dribble will stay with me forever.

I see Isak has come 3rd in the Football Writers awards, behind Salah and Van Dijk. Can't argue with that.

Van dijk is so overrated like.

I mean he's good player but the plaudits he gets for been at Liverpool is sickening. basically committing red card challenges every game and gets away with it, then his goals he scores nearly always come after a push or a pull by him in there area.

I think he's unreal tbh, agree he is a cunt though with the fouls
