Sima
Why? He’s just repeating what Howe has said?
Gallowgate Toon
Doesn't make sense unless he's picked up another niggle or he feels he's not fit enough for the pressing game. He said after Bournemouth that Isak came through the 90 minutes no problem.
Alberto2005
He's been back 3 months man, how is he not ready to play 90 mins Edited March 10, 2023 by Alberto2005
AyeDubbleYoo
I always like to actually see the full question and answer, but on the surface it's ridiculous.
HaydnNUFC
He's been back in full training for 2 months, man.
Wallsendmag
If this is the case I think I'd rather start with him and give him an hour. We are desperate for a shake up at the top end of the pitch.
Holmesy
Give him 70 minutes then and bring Wilson on or 20. Just fucking start him!!
OverThere
That is exactly what he said, he doesnt think he can last 90 minutes. Hopefully he starts him then, rather than a last 20 minutes cameo.

The Prophet
It'd be vintage Howe if he starts now.
r0cafella
Aye as @The Prophetsays it could be the classic Howe press conference where once shouldn’t read into it. Either that or we really need examine the sports science/training set up as it’s clear below standard of a young professional player needs so long to get back to full fitness. gbandit
They must be going off loads of data but it does beg the question, what’s going on with his recovery if he’s not ready for a start Edited March 10, 2023 by gbandit
Alberto2005
Howe talks about the concussion against Soton halting his progress regarding consistent training but the Athletic claimed Wilson hasn't trained consistently and he's also had bouts of illness and pretty much got straight back in so not too sure. The Prophet
Hope with yet another misleading Tweet. Howe actually says that Isak currently isn't able to play 90 minutes on a consistent basis. Prior to that he mentions that Isak is in a good place and this is the most consistently he's trained all season. He mentions that the seven days he missed due to concussion set him back a bit. HawK
Concussions shouldn't stop individual/fitness training, it's further impacts that are the danger I would have thought.

The Prophet
Loads on Twitter getting stuck into Howe on Twitter over this. I try to remind myself the madhouse isn't reflective of the fanbase, but there will be bews if we don't win on Sunday.

No doubt, rules are rules, as a layman it doesn't make sense to me is all. Can't see the harm of him doing some interval training on a treadmill/bike. Without wanting to sound like I'm siding with them, a manager continually starting a striker whose been in the main shit for months and has 1 in 14(?) whilst there's a record signing striker that's been sat on the bench for weeks is a decision that will get questions asked or criticism at any PL club you'd think. Gallowgate Toon
Can't remember the rules on clip posting from unofficial sources but there's a great little comp on Twitter of his link-up with Odegaard. One touch dreaminess.

That's fair enough, but some of it is going well beyond that.

STM
Something meaningless but amusing: Isak gets some minging Swedish fish thing regularly sent over, which apparently tastes and smells of sick and gets various players and staff members to try it, as some sort of challenge. Even the big security guard has tried and failed to eat this thing. Apparently it makes you sick when you open the packet.
